Personal Statement

The college coaches that have seen me have all told me the same thing. That I look even better in person than in my video.

I know I have the skills and drive to play at the college level. Nobody motivates me, they don't have to.  It's all self motivation.  Playing the game is the ultimate, it just doesn't get any better in sports. When you keep putting the work in everyday like I do, you just feel good on the field. You just want to make plays when called upon and help the team win. I haven't reached my peak or maximum potential yet. Not even close. I continually want to get better and become as complete a player as possible.

I am looking for a  coaching staff, program, and college that fits me. I am open to any opportunities from different schools and divisions, big or small. I want to be academically challenged as well. I take great pride in the high school scholarship and academic awards I have earned through hard work and taking care of my business in the classroom.  From the jump I am taking as many AP and Honors classes per year that the school will allow. No excuses. I am looking for an institution where I can find the right balance between the classroom and the field.

I pride myself on being an athlete first. This gives me the advantage of being able to play multiple positions on the baseball field. While I mainly train for middle infield because that is my position of choice, I also can play both corner infield spots and pitch. Bottom line is I want to be on the field. My coaches want me on the field because of the way I play and the fact that wherever I play I make the guys around me better and in turn I feed off of their play. Total teamwork.  I am confident that when you see my play and talk to my coaches and teachers you will want to talk to me about what I can bring to your program. And I look forward to learning all I can from your coaching.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
