Baseball has been an important part of my life since I started playing at 8 years old and my love of the game continues to drive me. The game has taught me both the importance of teamwork and of staying focused on my individual performance and continuous improvement.
In addition to sports, my time is balanced between education, family and faith. Having a brother on the Autism Spectrum has been the greatest gift. Watching him overcome obstacles has made me humble and proud. I learn from him every day, how to work hard to reach your goals.
Through my Christian faith, I have overcome some personal challenges with self-doubt and have learned that I am strong, and I am valued. I’m currently a student leader with our regional Youth For Christ organization. Similarly, I have made it my mission to encourage and build the confidence of my teammates to help them grow as individuals and succeed as a team. I am very coachable and looking for an environment that will provide an atmosphere to learn and evolve, both as an athlete and as a person.
My goal is to play college baseball and pursue a degree in Special Education, Youth Ministry or Business Marketing. I’m searching for a college with strong academics as well as a competitive athletic program that fits with my values and beliefs.
