Winning against Chartiers Valley High School for the first time in our team’s history was one of the many highlights of my high school career. My sophomore year allowed me to experience my biggest personal growth as a student athlete. We lost in the first round of the WPIAL playoffs and this experience challenged me to grow as a person and focus on becoming a solid midfielder capable of playing at the college level. I was able to identify the areas that I needed to improve personally to help my team advance and obtain our goals.
Improving and growing from obstacles that I have encountered as a high school athlete have helped lay out the path of my future and the goals that I am working towards. I was crossed-check in the back of my neck during a lacrosse tournament that resulted in several weeks of rehabilitation. Overcoming this injury made me appreciate my dedication to sports as well as helping me come to the realization that I wished to be a Physical Therapist so that I could help others work through similar situations. I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to be an asset for the college lacrosse team, I also have the work ethic, toughness and leadership skills to make an impact on your program. As a multi-sport athlete, I know how to get it done on the field.
