My name is Israel Rosseter, and I am a class of 2024 baseball player. I have played baseball for over 11 years, and I feel confident in myself to play at the D1 level. I also feel confident that as long as I keep putting in more work than other recruits, I will be capable of playing at the professional level. I feel like I am a good candidate for your team because I am a great team player; I care for everyone on the team and help them improve their skill set as much as I improve mine. I feel like I am also a very coachable player because I pick up the concepts of the sport very fast, and me being a visual learner has helped me a lot with that. I think I am a better candidate than other recruits because I have a lot of love and passion for the sport, and I will do whatever it takes for me to get good enough to play at the highest level possible. But also, because I was adopted from Ethiopia at the age of 4 (also the age I first touched a baseball), I am very grateful for all the opportunities I have gotten and I want to take as much advantage of them as I can because I know how much worse my options would’ve been if I hadn’t been adopted.
