Mason Evans '21 Recruiting Profile

I first stepped on the baseball diamond in 2008, my first year of Little League Tee Ball. I remember being so excited and after the first practice I was hooked for life. Now 2018 going into my freshman year of high school I still have that passion and joy for the game that I enjoy and love to play. Over the years and as I grow today this game has taught me many valuable lessons. It has taught my self control, how to think for myself and how to be a team player. This game has also forged friendships that will last for many years to come not only with my teammates but with opposing team players that I have got to know over the years. Going into my freshman year I am setting my goals to play college baseball at the next level that being Division I,II or III. With baseball being a big part of my life I do realize that maintaining grades in my academics is a huge part of getting to that next level. Academically I am looking at sports medicine or conservation for my future career.  What makes me a great candidate for your team? What you will get from me is 100% effort on the field, 100% effort in the classroom, I am very coachable and most of all a TEAM player. If I have a bad game its disappointing but as long as the scoreboard at the end of the game has our team winning is all that matters. That is what you will get from me. As I am starting varsity as a freshman this year, this is the first stepping stone towards my goals and dreams.
