Seth Huyler '20 Recruiting Profile

I have always had the aspiration of playing baseball as long as I could. Baseball has always been enjoyable for me. I love competing and being part of a team. That is why I am looking to further my baseball career with a competitive team that is always striving to win and better themselves. I am willing to do anything that is required to help my team win. I have always put in extra hours in the weight room and on the field to try and give the team my very best effort and ability. I have been the captain of my high school teams not only because of my abilities, but because I try to be the most supportive and vocal teammate I can be. Sports are not the only place that I try to be the best I can though. I always put forward my best efforts in school. Despite being a year round athlete in three sports, I still give my best towards my grades. That is why I have been able to stay a part of the High Honor Roll and National Honor Society. That also means I have put in multiple hours of community service. Being involved in a lot does bring struggles, but I enjoy that. I have always liked having to work for success. Being from a small town, I have always been told I can’t go anywhere and that has always been a source of motivation to do my best to be successful in all aspects of my life. I have a motivated and focused mentality that I can bring to any college team.
