I have been playing baseball before I could walk, if that’s even possible. My mom says I was born with a ball in my hands. And I seem to have been drawn to the catching position for equally as long. My tee ball coaches let me play catcher, even though that position didn’t exist that early. I have played for many leagues growing up. I live in Williamsport, PA, which is the home of Little League baseball and where the World Series is played every year; to say I literally grew up with Little League is no exaggeration. I have also played Babe Ruth, Legion ball, an indoor league in the winter, Juniors and travel ball (sometimes juggling 3 at once.) If there was a team, I wanted to be on it.
I played All Stars for every team that had it. I have played on three travel ball teams; the Bill-town Bombers, Baseball U PA, and most recently, US Elite, PA. As a freshman in High School I played varsity and junior varsity, unfortunately, my sophomore year of high school baseball was cancelled due to Covid 19.
My focus throughout the years has always been to be the best player possible, while still enjoying the game. I am confident that I would be a great asset to your team. Every coach I have ever had has complimented me on my sportsmanship, my commitment, and my character. My team has always come first for me. I take direction well and practice incredibly hard. I almost never miss a practice, even when they are not mandatory. This is because I love the sport and because I constantly want to improve.
I have worked with a private coach since I was 11 years old. I never seem to stop playing, watching, practicing or dreaming about baseball. My goal is to make my college coaches and team proud to call me a teammate.
