As a student athlete I face challenges juggling academics, athletics and employment. I have developed a strong work ethic, a structured routine and a desire do my best in every facet of my life. Every day I focus on my academics while attending practices and workouts while working a part time job. I am a member of my high school's Key Club and Future Business Leaders of American (FBLA). I recently placed 2nd in the FBLA regional tournament to move on to the state competition. I have maintained a high GPA, achieving high honor roll every semester and remain one of the top students in my class.
I enjoy playing baseball because the camaraderie it brings with my teammates and coaches and emotions that come with a hard fought win or a difficult loss. On the field I always give my best effort while trying to lead by example and cheer on my teammates. Whether it’s Babe Ruth, Little League, Legion or high school there is no better feeling that comes with helping my team succeed.
My goal is to attend a strong academic university to earn my degree while playing baseball at a competitive level. I look forward to being a part of a team both on the field and in the classroom.
