Juan-Carlos Betancourt Colon '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello!

My name is Juan-Carlos Betancourt Colon Jr. I live in Coamo, P.R.  During 9 years, I have play first base, and catcher. My main position is catcher. The catchers that inspired me are  Yadiel Molina, and  Victor Caratini. I am after a dream come true. I have work hard to have the position I have right now on my team. Playing baseball has become one of the most important things in my life. I am a player who is always willing to give the best him all the time, inside the playing field and outside the field.  I graduated from 8th grade with High Honors. On 9th grade I dropped a little bit cause my mom was diagnosed  with stage 4 Cancer, but we are back on track working as hard as day one to have my grades again. I'm determine to be the best catcher in my division because I want to make my mother proud, and bring a smile to her face while she fights cancer. My end goal is to become the best version of myself, make it to the MLB and inspire the next generation of Puertorican baseball players.
