Jared Tameling '24 Recruiting Profile

Since I was a kid, I have always been an athlete and involved in sports. I have played baseball, hockey, and many other competitive sports my whole life.

I have had some of my most memorable life and learning experiences from sports. Failure and success have taught me how to handle many different life situations and emotions.

I am a very motivated athlete & student and I have managed to maintain honor roll grades as well as train and compete year-round.

4 years ago, I committed fully to baseball as it is my passion! I'm currently going into my 3rd and senior year with the U18AAA Saskatoon Cubs Baseball club. We earned the opportunity to play in the 2022 National championships which was a great experience. 

I feel I have a very good knowledge of the game as well as baseball IQ. I think being a catcher and now primarily a pitcher it has given me an advantage on how to control and react to different game situations. 

I am proud of this as well as it has given me the opportunity and responsibility to teach & train younger players that now attend the training facility that I have been at for 4 years. Giving back is definitely rewarding.

My Dream and Goal is to play College Baseball at the highest level while achieving a post-secondary education. 

I would like nothing more than to have High Level Coaches and Players help elevate my game and for me to help bring success to a Team and the environment.
