Hello, my name is Emmanuel D. Burke. My goal not just in college, but in life, is to play baseball at the highest level I possibly can. I will do whatever I must to achieve this goal. That is my only goal in life. I can't and won't allow myself to settle for less. If I have other plans or other options, then I will not be dedicated to this goal. I must invest all my time into this goal, or it will never be achieved.

I believe I will be a great candidate for your team, not only because of physical abilities, but because of my dedication, teamwork, personality, understanding, and confidence towards others and myself. I am a very hard-working, respectful, obedient, and hilarious young man. I always take advice from others, especially those who have played longer than me, and know more about the game. The difference between me and other recruits is that I stay true to myself. I am a very outspoken person, I love to communicate with people, also, I love to smile.

I also never quit, I know that is a normal saying for people, but I absolutely feel as if quitting is never an option. I personally, would rather fail then quit. I strive to my fullest potential when it comes to academics. I know that my goal will never be achieved if I do not have the grades, academics play a huge role in success, especially mines. These reasons and many more, is why I know I will be a great candidate to your team.
