Trevor Weldon ireceived PWO to University of Miami after high school (2022). During his freshman year he competed and become 2nd string kicker mid season. During his freshman year at University of Miami was on the honor roll each semester. Previously was a member of the Class of 2022 at Hilton Head College Preparatory School. He has a cumulative SC GPA 3.97, with a junior year GPA of 4.24. Faculty Honor Roll Jr Year 2nd semester, Student Council VP 2021-22 and member of the National Society of High School Scholars. Trevor will be a five time starting dual sport athlete in his Senior year (started on 8th grade Varsity football and baseball teams.) Trevor strives to be a positive, faithful leader in academics and sports and a supportive member of the team. He has been described by his teachers and coaches as a dependable leader and philanthropic, who demonstrates accuracy, mental toughness, plus diligent in everything he does. Trevor began kicking and punting at the age of 8 years old for Little Panthers Pop Warner Tackle Football in Charlotte NC. He was the National and Mid-South Pop Warner Academic First Team All American Scholar 2014, 2015 & 2016. He began off-season individual training with Mike Stricker (Dynamic, Charlotte NC) at 8 years old and has been attending Kohl's National Camps and other national kicking events since he was 10 years old. Trevor started playing baseball at 8 years old as pitcher and 2nd baseman.
He has been a Leader of Fellowship Christian Athletes for 4 years. He has also been a volunteer on church (Hilton Head Island Community Church) Production for two year now, participated 2 years on Mission Trip to Belize where volunteered to run soccer camp at low income school plus worked to repair the school. Received the Hilton Head Mayor Volunteer Award 2019 Gold & 2018 Silver. Awarded Leukemia Lymphoma Society $2500 plus Honor raising $3100 individually in 2020. Additionally he has worked as a Doc Hand at Shelter Cove Marina and prior a Dining Attendant at Alexanders Restaurant. Trevor trains younger kickers in his community.
