Going into my junior year of high school, I started to realize that college is coming up fast and started to think about what I wanted to do and be. I came to the conclusion that I would like to achieve a Doctorate or Professional degree in the field of Physical Therapy while playing college baseball. In the terms of college ball, Division 1 is the goal but I would be happy to go to any college. To achieve this goal, I work day in and day out to continue to perfect my craft. Grant it I do slack off sometimes, but I keep myself in line and motivated through peers, family, and my own personal coach. While my profile says only 3 positions (3B, 1B, P), I can be put in the outfield and SS/2B. I will do and play anything to get some playing time or even be in the lineup. Now, this isn’t out of being desperate but out of concern that I want to help my team win. At the plate, I can utilize all parts of the field for power or contact. I may not be the fastest but I am a great bunter and I get good reads off of the pitcher to steal bases. On the other hand of academics, I sustain a 4.2 GPA while taking CP to Honors classes as a junior in high school. While I may not be the smartest, I will work hard to get the grade that I want in any of my classes. So looking back over this, I am a hard-working student-athlete that will do anything to help my team win even if that means playing a different position or having to sit a couple of innings.
