William Fountain '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Will Fountain.  I just finished my freshman year at Fox Creek High School in North Augusta, South Carolina.  Although I have played soccer, basketball and football growing up, baseball has always been my passion.  My passion is what sets me apart. I'm  a competitor and every time I step on that field or step on that mound, I'm there to do what my coaches and teammates need for us to be successful.  I might not be the tallest guy or the fastest guy or throw the hardest but I'm going to compete and I'm going to be successful. These are the same traits that I exemplify in my school work.  I finished my freshman year with a 4.071 GPA.  Both my parents graduated from major universities and have demanding careers and they have taught me that nothing in life is given.  You have to earn it.  I hope to enroll in a four-year D-1 program and earn a degree that will give me the basis for running my own business one day.
