Austin Shumpert '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Austin Shumpert and I will be graduating in 2019 with hopes of playing baseball at the college level.  I want to pursue an education in either Physical Education or Agriculture.  What sets me apart from others is that I have a strong work ethic like no other.  My entire life I have contended with a smaller physique than other boys my age; however, it has not kept me from reaching high athletic goals because I put in more hard work in the weight room and on the field to continue to excel at the sport.  I will always work hard for you on the field and in the classroom. On the field, I am a middle infielder, most preferably second base, but I am also very versatile.  I also pitch, and even play the outfield.  In the classroom, I take honors classes and started doing this in the 8th grade.  I have close to a 4.0 GPA and continue to strive to do better each and everyday.  I would love to play for your school and give you 110% on and off the field.
