Coach
First, thank you so much in your interest in me. I have worked very hard to get to where I am at right now. I am very appreciative of your consideration of selecting me to add to your baseball program. I know you work hard to make your program the best it can be and it is an honor for you to recognize my body of work!
I know there are thousands of potential recruits that all say the same thing. Here is what I know for a fact. I work hard at EVERYTHING I do. I might make some mistakes on the way but I promise you that I will learn from them and mold myself to be the player you want me to be that fits your coaching needs. I, of corse, will add my own flair to your coaching to make me a solid option for you and to represent you and your school in the class room as well as on and off the baseball diamond. Here is what else I know, I am NOT a power hitter nor do I try and hit the ball over the fence. If that is what you are looking for, I am not your guy. BUT, if you want a player that can drive the ball through the infield and into the outfield gaps while playing GREAT solid defense. I AM your guy! I pride myself in making contact with the baseball and putting the ball in play. I want to turn a single or a base on balls into a double very quickly by stealing bases while being smart on the base path. Lastly, I consider myself having great success through out the past 6 years. However, I am very coachable to new philosophies. I am always open to tips on hitting and fielding. It is a good thing to get evaluated from a different set of eyes.
In closing, I look forward to the opportunity in learning more about your school and your baseball team. I welcome the fact of having a one on one conversation with you and your staff. I am open to do private work outs and attend your baseball camp, if necessary. Thanks again for participating in the greatest opportunity of my life!
