I have always loved the game of baseball, what it teaches about life, the team aspects, the disciplines of getting better, and the competitiveness. I have wanted to compete and play in a great college program since i can remember. I have been to the college world series several times to watch, and look forward to the opportunity to be a part of a program who wants to go tothe college world series. I have been influenced by my dad mainly, as he has coached me at all levels of play since i could play! He has taught me alot about discipline, humility, team chemistry, and to always honor God. He teaches alot to players on discipline, humility, and gratitude. My younger brother and my mom have also impacted my baseball and life. I am grateful for the gifts God has given my brothers and I, and want to use them to learn from other players and great coaches to help better any team we play on and become an impactful player and person. I also love the discipline of of ROTC and military to learn about leadership and our country.
I believe I can be a 5tool player, and have a great foundational start, to truly improve every part of my game and life. Trust, loyalty, humility, fun, and discipline are all aspects that my dad has instilled in me, and that I believe i can build my sports career and life around. I have also competed in basketball into high school, and now high school Golf this year. This helps me round out as an athlete both in learning to overcome failures or obstacles, and in competing both a an individual and a team. Both golf and hoops also teach the mental aspects well. Academically I love history, and learning how things work! I want to graduate with a degree as well as have a great athletic career.
The highlight of this past few years was being able to help and watch my brother (Gavin Weir) play in the little league world series last year! It truly (2021) was a great experience, that I would love to personally get a chance to compete at this level in college. I also got to experience much with him thru this process and it has helped me become better with the mental game as a player, and reiterated the values that my dad (coach) has taught us, and is teaching many others currently as well.
