- Selected to represent Tennessee in the All-State tournament. 01/24/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Knoxville, TN Hunter is a lean, lanky 3B/RHP who has a promising future on the diamond. At 3B, displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are aggressive as he works around but needs to play through balls more with his body. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. He moves well laterally with range improving as he increases foot quickness. At the plate, he continues to shine through a squared setup. Hands are quick (85 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. On the mound, he shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 77 mph. Breaking ball displays 10/4 shape with sweeping action. Slider is harder with tight spin and short break. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Hunter has potential with time and room to progress his game.
