I made varsity freshman year for pitching. I worked hard for my spot at the 1 position, and every practice I was doing my part on and off the field. The corona-virus delay on all sports and school was a large obstacle. With all the distractions at my house it has been more difficult to work, but it hasn't stopped me. I have been working often to improve my game, from hitting on the tee to lifting weights. I overcame that obstacle to keep working for my spot, trying harder and harder to earn more playing time and respect from my coaches. I was hoping to come back from the break to continue the remainder of the high school season just to find out the season was canceled, but all of the strength and conditioning has gotten me well-prepared for the travel-ball season.
