2022 Highlights Personal Statement
My name is Kooper Jones, I am catcher who has been behind the plate since I was 9 years old. I have not wanted to leave behind the plate since. I am blessed to have parents who gave me the opportunity to travel with some strong travel teams. My dad being a EX Marine and my mom being a softball pitching coach. They have always instilled a mindset of integrity and being humble also to always be coachable. With those standards I feel will take me to the next level of baseball. As a catcher those traits help with building relationships with pitchers and coaches, understanding that as a catcher a pitcher needs to trust that I will block and frame for them.
As long as GOD allows me to physically play baseball I will play, I wish for my future in baseball to include a college with tradition, great coaching. Then off to PRO baseball and then to coach at a high level.
