My name is Tyler Chapman and I am a RHP and 3rd baseman. I also caught several years, so I know what it is like to be on the mound and behind the plate and have a great understanding of what it takes to be in those high pressure positions. I believe that hard work, discipline and integrity as well as a love for the game and competitive spirit are the keys to my success both on and off the field.
Throughout High School I have enjoyed playing baseball and football. I was a part of our football team that won the 2A-Div2 Texas State Championship in 2022 and again in 2023. Our baseball team has made a deep run in the playoffs every year, finishing the 2022 season as Regional finalists and 2023 season as Regional Semi Finalists. I love being a part of a team that will push each other to be their best and strive to be a leader that others can look up to.
I have also participated in Newspaper, One Act Play, UIL Speaking events, National Honor Society and have been a member of Student Council and a Student council and Class officer for multiple years. I have taken honors and dual credit classes throughout high school and have maintained a 4.0 GPA and am currently ranked 5 in my class. I am always trying to push myself to be competitive and a strong leader both on the field and in the classroom.
In my spare time, I enjoy lifting weights, hunting and fishing, spending time with family and being a part of our church and my youth group.
