Personal Statement

My name is Dakota Durant. I am 5.11 and I weigh 196. I am a left handed pitcher, First baseman, and outfielder that bats 4 and 5 in the lineup. My goal is to always be the best I can be as a person, a student, and an athlete. I believe I have a lot to offer the right College if given the chance. In addition to leadership, I bring my passion for the game, my commitment to my teachers, coaches and teammates, and my desire to compete at the highest level I can.

I am the starting first baseman for the Aledo Bearcats. I am also a LHP. You can check my stats on Gamechanger, under Aledo Bearcats Varsity 2014. I have been playing club ball for the Texas Blackhawks, a Premier  team based in Keller, TX since 2011. Before that I played with the Aledo Cats. I am an excellent student with a GPA of 3.7. I plan to study Energy Commerce and/or Petroleum Engineering in College. I stay busy and involved. When I do get some free time, I like to volunteer my time to kids with special needs and spend time with my family and friends.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
