Roman Rushing '27 Recruiting Profile

I am a 16-year-old Student Athlete in 11th grade. I’m passionate about helping others in need and have been serving my community for six years in a variety of programs including a mission trip to Oaxaca, Mexico. I currently mentor seven 8 year olds as a pitching coach and serve on the set-up team at my home church. I have been playing baseball since I was 3 years old and I am dedicated to getting better. I am a straight-A student that is looking for a school with a great baseball program, but also a great academic program. I am a Third Baseman, MIF, and RHP. I play for my Varsity team at Anna High School. I am the starting Third Baseman and a top of the lineup hitter.and a Relief Pitcher. I am a Tuesday-Friday Starting Pitcher. I was named Captain of the 2025-2026 Anna Baseball Team. Some accomplishments I’m proud of most include: Multi All-Tournament Team Honors in PG events, being named a Dude of the Day for Five Tool, being named the first Captain in Anna Baseball history, and on track to be a 4 year letterman on the baseball team. I’m in the top 3% of my class with a class rank of 14. My GPA is 3.87 out of 4.0, college GPA of 4.0, and scored an 1110 on my PSAT. I plan to take the SAT in 2026. I continue to take Advanced Placement classes to further my college education in High School. I am currently a 3 year going on 4 year letterman on the Student Athletic Training staff at Anna High School. I intend to be a Pre-Health/Pre-Med major in college and pursue a career in the medical field.
