Among the many things important to me as a student-athlete, the most significant is that I find the school that provides the academic needs that will suit me the best. As an upperclassman, I am leaning towards a major in the STEM field and am specifically interested in engineering.
Ever since I first played baseball, I have been described as tenacious and competitive by my coaches and teammates, as I never give up in the face of adversity. As a leader on the baseball field, I prefer to lead by showing rather than telling. I am a firm believer that actions speak louder than words and that is shown in how I play the game. As I enter my junior year of high school I am prepared to take on a leadership role in the classroom and on the baseball field. I have recently been inducted into the National Honor Society and have been a two-year varsity starter for my team.
I am looking forward to the challenges and opportunities of the next two years of high school as I develop as a person on and off the baseball field.
