True McEvoy '20 Recruiting Profile

I have played baseball since I was five and my goal is to continue playing for as long as possible; that includes playing at the collegiate level. I enjoy working hard to get better at the game and I understand the commitment it takes to play at a high level.

I have always enjoyed playing multiple positions but that has been an essential part of my game this year. My primary positions have consistently been shortstop and pitcher. However, on my school’s varsity team this year (my freshman year) our best player is both the starting shortstop and a senior, so for me to be able to start or play a lot I have had to move over to second base, or play whatever position needs to be filled, something I have been happy to do.

I love the game and am willing to work as hard as it takes to get to the next level. I will always give 100% to any coach I play for and to any team I am on.
