Nicholas Johnson '11 Recruiting Profile

I want to go to a school with good academics. Architecture is my desired major, but I'm also very interested in a liberal arts degree. I want to learn all there is. I'm a good student that is ready to experience college. I was elected into the National Honor Society, so I know what it takes to succeed in school. I'm from a major city and a large public school, so I'm not afraid of a big population. I actually would fit in quite nicely. However, I've always wanted to try a smaller setting. I want to experience new things in college. That's why I don't have any preferences on the type of school I go to. When it comes to baseball, I'm looking for a program that has a coach that is willing to give me a chance to play. I do not care if I start as a freshman. I only want a fair chance to prove myself. I'm the lead off hitter and starting center fielder for my varsity team, and I get on base a lot. I was taught at a young age to do whatever it takes to get on base. When I'm on base, I use my speed to steal bases and score runs. I'm also intelligent enough to read signs when I'm on second base (if it needs to be done). I enjoy practicing and working out. It makes the games a lot easier when you practice hard. Honestly, I'm just a high school student that is eager to play college baseball, win a championship, and graduate! Also, my family will need financial aid.
