My name is Lawson Mickler- Class of 2016. I am a right handed pitcher and an outfielder. I lead my team in batting AVG., RBIs, and Doubles as a sophomore. I was first team All-District as well as Newcomer of the year. My junior year will lead to greater things for me due to the hard work I have put in during the off season. Becoming a college baseball player is my main goal, but I believe having excellent grades, receiving a great education, and being a leader on the diamond is also extremely important as well. I have always strived to be the best I can be in the classroom and on the field. I have a 4.0 GPA and I am signed up for the ACT and SAT soon. I have grown up being a very competitive young man, and this has made me to hate losing. On the other hand, winning is not everything in life, but I promise I will give 100% positive effort in the chances I get to play baseball. I am respected by many teachers, students, and coaches. Also, being a role model for young individuals is key in my life. Becoming a college baseball player has always been my dream, therefore I have always had a drive for excellence to reach this dream.
