Kade Hunsaker '18 Recruiting Profile

   My name is Kade Hunsaker and I am a 6ft/160lb RHP. I am currently a Junior at Clarendon High school, in Clarendon Texas. I have been playing baseball since I was 5 years old and my goal is to keep playing as long as possible. I am very coachable, a team player with a positive attitude, show no emotion on the mound, and do not get rattled.  I am a young man of character and integrity that has been handed down from my parents and other influential people in my life.  I am a good student and have excellent relationships with my teachers and coaches.  My current GPA is a 3.2 and I just recently took the ACT and Sat.  I plan on retaking this summer.

I played varsity baseball as a freshman and was selected All District MVP pitcher as a freshmen. My Sophomore year I was selected as CO MVP and selected 2nd team All State.  Since 7th grade I have played with my travel team, Amarillo Baseball Academy/ Amarillo Titans for Coach Jermaine Van Buren and Coach Mark Jones. This has allowed me to play against some of the best teams and best competition in the country; USA Baseball, Premier Baseball, V Tool Baseball, University of New Mexico and Texas Tech showcases, and numerous tournaments across the country.  My  2016 summer included more showcases and tournaments through V Tool and Premier Baseball. I also continue with weekly pitching/hitting lessons with Jermaine Van Buren and ABA.

   Playing college baseball is my goal and why I am working hard to get to the next level.  I am open to all possibilities and opportunities and look forward to playing a role in your organizations success.  Thank you for your time and consideration.
