I have been playing baseball since I was four years old. I started playing catch with my grandpa and I haven't stopped since. I've had the privilege of playing in many parts of the U.S., from San Diego, California to Orlando, Florida. Baseball has taught me many things, traditions and life lessons. Both of my parents have worked hard to provide me with these opportunities. My mother is a college graduate, teaching reading at a local middle school and my father is a truck driver. Seeing my dad's long work days has made getting a college degree one of my top priorities. If I can continue my baseball career to the next level while I'm pursuing my college education, that would be icing on the cake.
