Personal Statement

My name is Brandon Jennings and I will graduate with the Class of '24 from A&M Consolidated High School in College Station, TX.  I also play club ball for the Brazos Valley Renegades.  My primary position is Center Field, but I am able to confidently play any position in the outfield or even in the infield.  Some of my personal and athletic attributes include: I am a leader by example, I am vocal on the field, I love helping people who are in need, and I love assisting my classmates as well as my teammates in whatever they need.

Some of my key metrics are:

60=6.7; Home to 1st=4.42; Exit Velo=93; Consistent Outfield Velo=89+

My goal is to continue my education and baseball career with a program that is committed to helping me develop into the best student and player possible and set me up for success in my future career and in life.

  • Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament
  • 1/13/23 to 1/15/23
  • Brandon is a gifted OF in the 2024 class. In the field, he has effective feet and works to beat the ball to the spot. Squares his body to the baseball and has clean actions from catch to throw. Arm is quick and on-line to his targets. Working to throw the top of the baseball will increase accuracy and help his team shut down the free 90s. At the plate, he has an athletic set-up and gains proper separation. His timing is smooth and he stays inside his feet well. Gets his backside through and creates explosion through the zone (85 exit velo). Demonstrates line drive production to the gaps. Overall, Brandon is talented OF with a bright future.

Training

  • The Lab BCS
  • 4 years
  • thelabbcs.com - Professional hitting program powered by Epstein Hitting (Jake Epstein). THE LAB was built and designed specifically around the player development model. Jake’s personal experience as a D1 coach and Hitting Consultant with the Milwaukee Brewers affords him unique insights into what makes players great. It isn’t just about looking good off a tee or in batting practice, rather how players react in stressful situations. We will train all our players HOW TO PERFORM between the white lines by putting them in competitive, game-like situations through the course of our development plan. Therefore, this model takes commitment and dedication from the player and will be treated as such. Think of THE LAB as your own personal D1 program, here to make you the best player you can be.
  • Elevate Sports Performance

We focus on core strength and explosive movements for overall athleticism and baseball-specific training. We also spend a lot of time on mobility and recovery as well as nutrition.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
