Personal Statement

Dear Coach,

As a student-athlete, I embrace the unique challenges that await me at the College-level. I dedicate myself every day in the pursuit of Academic and Baseball Excellence! I know that it takes a lot more than skill to play this great game the right way. It takes mental toughness as well.

As hard as I work on my baseball mechanics and athleticism; I work just as hard on my baseball IQ. As a switch-hitting middle-infielder--who can command strikes and run down a fly ball in the outfield--- I pride Skill and IQ as keys to my success at multiple positions on the field.

I am seeking a college baseball program and culture that not only embraces this approach; but can help me build on it. If I am the type of player you look for in a recruit; I welcome the opportunity to visit your campus, participate in camp or have a personal workout to compete for a roster spot on your team.
