Miguel Perez Torres '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Miguel Perez Torres, student at Judge Barefoot Sanders Law Magnet, I'd love to be part of of playing baseball at the next level.

I'am 5'8", 180lbs, Catcher and 3rd base, despite my current high school having no athletics, I became part of my home school baseball team, Pinkston Vikings Baseball, throughout my high school years. As a starter all 4 years, I developed a strong will to the play, helping my teammates by giving them tips, and becoming a very coach able player. 

I've also played in the Commissioner's Cup in 2019, RBI Regional's in 2018, 2019, as well as the Future Stars Series 2020 Tournament. I would train and practice on a daily basis at the Texas Rangers Youth Academy. Due to my success at the academy, I was awarded the 2018 Youth of the Year. With all this I balanced baseball and academics very well. This developed me into a reliable student athlete.

As student, I maintained a GPA of a 3.6. I've excelled in high school courses through rough bumps.
