Personal Statement
Playing varsity as a freshman will always be the highlight of my high school career. Although, I feel I grew the most as a student athlete my sophomore year, when our team lose a game in a walk-off, to knock us from playoffs. That experience helped me grow as a person and lead me to refocus my own efforts on becoming a dual threat center fielder, capable of playing at the college level.
I am fortunate enough to be part of an amazing program, watching a team grow through the tough times. I learned the true value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, and leadership through the years without a trophy. I’m looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe and trust my ability to compete for a college team, but the character, work ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program. As a multiple sport athlete, and a captain, I know that I have what it takes to be a leader on your team.
