Julio Garcia '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Julio Cesar Garcia, I am a 5'9" 150 lbs. framed Switch Hitting OF/LHP looking to take my athleticism and academics to a collegiate level. I was born and raised in the cultural city of El Paso, TX, I attend and play baseball at Montwood High School as well as going out of town for travel ball and occasionally playing ball in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. I am an adaptive player as well as a coachable player, I strategize my work on the field and pursue to perfect every aspect of my ability and potential for the sport that I have been playing for over a decade. I have fun playing the game which gives me the advantage over my opponents when faced with adversity/pressure. Whether it is having to put my body on the line to make a play in the outfield grass, getting my team out of the hole with runners in scoring position as a reliever, or sealing the deal to earn the save as a closer. I am filled with ambition to simply play some ball and ready for the upcoming season as well as ready to be picked up by a college and help rack up some wins.
