My goals for college and aspirations are to achieve something from going to college. If baseball does not work out then I know I will have a college education to fall back on and hopefully have a decent job. I hope to provide for my future family with my college education, I can achieve that with baseball and do not want to have to struggle and be set in life.
As a student I'm an A and B student trying to get straight A's. I am in tutorials almost everyday trying to get my grades as high as I can get it them. I know that great grades get you far especially into good colleges. I help my teachers any chance I get, I say hello to my principle every morning, I talk to my counselor about any problems I have. I feel like I can say my academics are pretty good but I can make them better at every level.
Now as a baseball player I believe grinding and hard work is the key, being alert at all times, and staying focused goes far. Just like with my grades I work at baseball everyday with either practicing with my team or working solo in my backyard. Once game time comes I believe being loud in the dugout and getting in players heads wins games just as much as defense wins games. Cheering on my teammates wins games just as much or even more. When I see a player frustrated I'm going to be loud until I lose my voice but even then I can make noise with my heads and feet. As a player I'm a decent hitter, pitcher and outfielder but I'm working on being the better every day.
