Braden Williams '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Braden Williams and I am a class of 2024 OF/RHP from V.R. Eaton High School in Haslet, Texas.  My unweighted GPA is 3.73 on a 4.0 scale and weighted GPA is 5.11 on a 6.0 scale.  I have played baseball since I was 5 years old and I am looking forward to the opportunity to continue to develop both my athletic and academic abilities at the college level.  

My dream is to go as far as possible with baseball.  At 6'1" and 165 pounds, my current focus is to do something every single day that will help me become stronger, faster and better at baseball.  This summer, I attended The Complete Showcase where I was able to show my skills and be evaluated by college coaches.  Since that showcase, I have improved my 60 time to 6.98 from 7.33, my exit velocity from 82 mph to 84 mph (have touched up to 88 mph), my pitching velo from 79 mph to 81-83 mph (T 84 mph), and my outfield pulldown from 82 mph to 88 mph.  I am also working on improving all four pitches that are in my repertoire through daily work and time in the gym.  I will bring to your program self discipline, hard work ethic and intense desire to succeed at the highest level on and off the field. In the past I have been complimented on my attention to detail and my never give up/ can do attitude.
