Wes Weaks '24 Recruiting Profile

First and foremost thank you for viewing my profile and your interest.

I work very hard and expect a high level of production out of myself on the field and in the classroom.  My coaches and teammates would describe me as someone who leads by example during practice, in the weight room, in game play, in the dugout and off the field.

Pitching for a collegiate baseball program has been a dream of mine from the first time I stepped on the mound at age 9.  I am continually working on both the physical and mental parts of pitching as a starter/reliever/closer in order to fill whatever role is needed of me on a team.

While baseball is my passion, school and a great education is extremely important to me.  My college educational goals are to get my undergraduate degree in business, my MBA and go to Law School.

As a former coach for Dulins Dodgers Texas, and throughout the years, his pitching coach; I have been privileged to coach Wes in both team settings and private settings. He displays outstanding work ethic, coachability, a love for the game, and exceptional baseball IQ. He is consistently a great teammate and a ‘no-complaining’ type of guy. Most importantly, Wes is a good-hearted young man with a strong desire to succeed in everything that he does. Over past three seasons, I have had the opportunity to Coach Wes Weaks on my select baseball team in Frisco, TX.  Wes has consistently displayed a knowledge for the game that is beyond his years and is one of the best teammates I have ever coached.  He is supportive of his team regardless of the situation and is a natural leader.  Wes is extremely intelligent which allows him to adapt to the game in motion with ease.   Wes is an excellent student and strong young man on and off the field.  It is without reservation that I recommend Wes Weaks as a student, leader and baseball player.
