I would love to play college baseball at the collegiate level. I love the sport of baseball. Baseball teaches you lessons you can use in everyday life For example, one lesson I learned is never to give up when things get tough. I would start my season off doing well and then hit a slump mid-season. But I kept working as hard as ever and didn’t give up and eventually I was able to get out of my slump and finish the season strong.
I have learned about baseball by playing a lot of different positions. I consider myself a utility player, having played all positions with the exception of center field, pitcher and catcher. My sophomore season I excelled starting and playing 3rd base.
Coaches, teammates and peers describe me as a very good teammate, unselfish, and helpful. My coaches consider me a leader, very coachable and a team player. I want to contribute to my team’s success in any way possible. If I just base run the whole game I would be glad because I know I helped out my team.
Playing collegiate baseball while obtaining my higher education to become a Game Warden would be a dream come true.
