We moved around a lot when I was younger; we lived in Oklahoma, Scotland, Australia and Canada before moving to Houston when I was 13 years old. I played the local sports where we lived which included Aussie Rules Football (Footy), Field Hockey, and Ice Hockey. I also played baseball, football, basketball, and ran track & field. I started playing t-ball in Perth, Australia when I was four and that was the beginning of my unstoppable passion for baseball. Moving around like we did taught me how to fit in and contribute to new teams quickly. I learned from an early age about the importance of putting the team first.
My abilities in math and physics carry over to baseball in that I have exceptional ability to remember pitch sequences and patterns. These skills enhance both my pitching and hitting success. I have exceptional hand-eye coordination and very quick hands so that I rarely strike out. I can hit with contact or power and will lay down a bunt when my team needs it. I am continuing to develop as a pitcher with excellent command of 4 pitches. I have quickness as a fielder and speed on the bases. I am a leader and will do whatever is needed to help my team succeed.
