Being a prosperous student-athlete has always been my goal and I intend to play baseball as long as possible and as hard as I humanly can. My strong perseverance in the classroom and on the field allows me to see my way to success and develop a winning mentality. Since the age of three, the "game of inches" has inevitably taught me a lot about failure and I have really matured into a better player and student as well. I strongly pursue my goals in the classroom and on the diamond no matter what it takes. From long workouts in the weight room to midnight homework sessions, I propel myself to the end. My rancor towards losing has given me the push to strive to be the best asset I can be to any team because I know if I bail on training and hard work, I will inevitably let down others as well.
I always work to be the toughest out in the lineup and I know that I will be a hardworking, positive individual in your program. I want the pitcher to know that, no matter where I'm playing, he can rest assured that that part of the field is off limits to hitters. I know I will bring all my mental, defensive, and offensive aspects of my game to the field everyday. I hope to lead and bring unity and success to your program.
