David Salas '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I'm David Salas, and my goal is to play baseball and the collegiate level while pursuing a degree in Petroleum Engineering.  I believe I am a good candidate for your team because of my strong work ethic and my ability to stay focused under pressure. I have consistently improved my performance through hard work and dedication. I pride myself on being a team player and always supporting my teammates. I believe in leading by example and maintaining a positive attitude both on and off the field. Which at times I serve my community and local youth football league and little league baseball by modeling leadership, academic awareness, and sportsmanship. Athletically, I have been a top performer on my High school team , earning '' Newcomer of the year '' and 2nd team All Area as a freshman on varsity. My Sophomore year I earned 1st team All District and Honorable Mention All Area. I am committed to continuous improvements, learning from my mistakes, and always strive to push past my limits. I understand the importance of time management and am dedicated to excelling both in the classroom and on the field. What makes me different from other recruits is my unique combination of resilience, leadership, and academic excellence. I am not only focused on achieving my personal best but also on contributing to the success of the team as a whole.
