My baseball journey is just beginning compared to most. I decided to give baseball a try my 8th grade year in a local rec league and had fun learning the basics of the game for about a year. Coach Smith and Coach Suarez took a chance on my potential my freshman year of high school and that is when my love for the game took off. Since then I have played as much as I can and I’m constantly learning. I love the challenges and lessons the game presents, the competition, the ups and downs, but most of all the relationships. Dugout time with the guys and coaches and off the field friendships that I have found are very valuable to me. I will continue to work hard in the classroom and on the field. My ultimate goal is to earn a degree in Kinesiology while contributing to the success of a collegiate baseball program.
