My main goal is to play baseball in college. I've loved the game for as long as I can remember. I have good grades and academics are a priority. I am consistent at hitting, and try to be one of the best hitters on every team I play on. I'm short minded when I play, and don't dwell on the past or a mistake I've made. I practice to be the best, and I work on staying athletic and improving my speed and strength. I'm a good teammate, and thrive to be a leader on and off the field. I plan to go to college and focus on engineering. If I can use my baseball skills to help with a scholarship for college, that would be my ultimate goal.

Sanchez is a big physical player who controls the barrel well in the box. He can really impact the baseball and swings with intent. He is aggressive in the box but not overly aggressive staying within himself well. He has shown immense ability to get extended with easy strength in the hands. Sanchez should continue to swing a hot bat as the power projects really well here.

- Top Prospect Team. Top 10 1B Velo. Top 10 Exit Velo. LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT PG Ranking 8.5. Andrew Sanchez is a 2025 1B/3B with a 6-4 210 lb. frame from Leander, TX who attends Rouse. Primary first baseman with an extra large frame showing physicality that plays in the tools. Shows solid actions with the glove and around the bag at first base. Does a good job with the footwork on the double play feeds getting himself in the right position to make clean accurate throws. Also showed good hands with an ability to pick the ball at first base as he showed in game action. Right-handed hitter starts with an even base and simple stride getting to a strong base at the point of contact. The simplified pre-pitch allows the strength in the hands to play out front as he gets good extension and does a nice job driving the baseball to all fields as he showed in game actions as well. Very good student.

- All Tournament Team (Hitting). 16U National Select Scout Notes- Andrew Sanchez (2025, Leander, Texas) had a big weekend for Canes Southwest helping lead the to the championship game. He collected six hits with eight rbis. Three of these hits went for extra bases. Sanchez is a big physical righty with big time box presence. There is plenty of strength all over to work with allowing the power to project well here. He starts pretty upright in his stance and uses a small leg stride to transfer his weight. He rotates well with a strong set of hands that produces plenty of bat speed. His swing creates good leverage which allows him to launch balls and hit them hard with authority. Sanchez profiles well as a bat first player which will help carry him throughout the process. There is not a lot of swing and miss which is impressive considering his size. The power projects well for Sanchez as he continues to grow into his body more and it is only a matter of time before he starts hitting balls out with ease.
