There are several major impacts in my life, my loving family and coaches. I wouldn’t be where I am today without the unconditional love and support for myself AND the sports I play. I’ve never wanted for anything thanks to my family that made sure I had everything I needed. Coaches throughout the years have impacted my life majorly, the main one being my father. My dad has coached me since I was 4 and had always strived to learn more, do more, and teach me more because he saw potential in me from the beginning. He is the main reason I am where I am today. After first picking up a baseball when I was 4, my parents said I never wanted to put it down. As I grew up, I fell in love with such a incredible, compassionate game. Baseball has taught me so much while growing older. I’ve learned how to be diverse on and off the field by learning all positions to help the team anywhere i’m able. I’ve learned to be resilient by being able to accept criticism and bounce back from difficult situations in order to make adjustments for my team and self.
For highschool, my goal is to make the most of my last year as a LK Tiger; to enjoy my last games with the guys I’ve played with my whole life while we prepare for the next level. For college, I wish to pursue my baseball career at the collegiate level while I also work hard towards my dream to major in Biology and become a Marine Scientist. Throughout my life, I was blessed with a family and a support system to encourage and guide me at all times. I never had to overcome materialistic obstacles to get where I am, only obstacles within myself. Over the years, I’ve overcome the fear of failure, acceptance, and have strived to be the very best I can be to continue to play the sport I love most. Outsife of baseball, I’m also passionate about other skills I acquire. I love the game of football, as I’ve played it since I was 4 as well. I fell in love with music at a young age and learned to sing, play the drums/percussion, the guitar, and the piano. In between my extracurricular activities, sports, and school work, I spend my free time fishing, hanging with family, and sharing Gods amazing grace.
