Cason McBride '25 Recruiting Profile

I am a multi-sport athlete and love to play both Baseball and Football but tend to prefer baseball due to the year round opportunities it offers.   I have played baseball since I was 4 yrs old,  I have ambitions to play in college and get my degree in Teaching or Kinesiology.  I am an excellent student and maintain a solid A average.   I am currently a Senior in High School and have played at the varsity level since my freshman year in both Baseball and Football, I also participate in Power Lifting and have qualified for the state reginal meet the past two years.  My primary positions are 1st base and Right field.  I am also a relief pitcher on my high school varsity team.   I am currently 18 yrs old, and in addition to High School sports I have played on select baseball teams year round since I was 10 years old.  I have competed within the VTool organizational tournaments and other baseball programs.

My Career stats last 5 years across 103 games and 202 at batt in Baseball are;  Avg. .347 / OBP .421/ OPS .867 / SLG .446 / C% 75.74 / RBI 58 / HR 6 

I love to play1st base or Right field, but my first priority is my school work.  I just think it would be awesome to play college ball at the same time I am earning my degree.
