I have played baseball since I was six. It is an amazing sport I have loved the game ever since I was little. I remember all the way back in coach pitch when we won first place in the playoffs they had, we had a pool party and cake. It was amazing, since then I have put in countless hours of determined practice, and focused on getting better. It gives you purpose, and meaning in your life, a kind of purpose you can't find anywhere else. Your team becomes your brothers as you and your team work harder and harder united under the common goal to win not by a little bit, but to demolish the other team. Baseball is an intense mental sport you have maybe two seconds to see the ball and make a play. You have to trust each other, trust that he's going to be there when you throw the ball. Overall baseball takes grit, determination, quick thinking, fast reflexes and trust. It gives you friends and purpose. One play you can drop the ball or over throw it, but the next play you can get a double play and end the inning. The field is where all my problems fade away and I can just have fun. I love baseball.
