Cole Bohannon '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Cole Bohannon and I am currently a senior at New Waverly High School in New Waverly, Texas. I am 6'2" and weigh 235 lbs. My speed in the 60-yard dash is 7.3.  I am not fast, but I move pretty good for a big guy.  I also have a strong arm, quick hands, and exhibit the ability to perform "big" in important contests.

My team in football has been to the playoffs for four consecutive years.  We are currently in Area competition.  Our baseball team has also made it to the playoffs for 3 consecutive years, reaching the regional finals twice.  My team has finished in the top ten, three years in a row.  

As far as individual accomplishments, I have been selected as "All-District" in football for four years as a defensive lineman and quarterback.  I have started 43 consecutive games.

In baseball, I have never lost a game pitching, in district for 3 years.  My record for three years is 22 wins and 4 losses, with my senior year yet to play.  I have been selected as "All-District" for three years, "All-Tournament," and "King of the Hill."

As an athlete, I offer leadership through my play with the ability to get my team-mates to perform to the best of their ability.  I am always willing to do my best.

I have played on numerous select teams  since I was 10 years old. As a young athlete, I have been selected as "All-Tournament," played in national championship games, and played in college showcases all over Texas, some in Lousiana, and Florida.

I would like to attend a college that would give me a chance to play the sport that I love and that would help me reach my full potential as a student athlete.   The size of the college does not matter, but I would like for this community to have a good place to attend church, and a college that excels in academics.

At this time, I plan to major in Sports Medicine.  I would like to contribute to a team either by pitching, playing 3rd or 1st base, or DH, whatever it takes to contribute to the team's success.
