My passion in baseball is pitching. I am an off-speed pitcher with 5 pitches, and have great success locating my pitches for lots of ground outs or fly outs. My first High School Season this Spring, I was a starter for our Varsity Team as a pitcher, left fielder, and batted second in our lineup. We made the playoffs for the first time in 19 years, and I received Pitcher of the Year honors, 2nd Team All District Pitcher, and Academic All District Honors. During our Awards Banquet, my AD commented, “If you’ve seen him play Baseball, you know his mental toughness and determination are unmatched”. For my Select Team, I played up a level & was used primarily as a reliever for Canes Herrick 2026 during the 2024 summer season, and recorded many team high stats while coming in to pitch under pressure with runners on base. I love the challenge of being on the mound in those situations. I am interested in playing baseball at the next level after high school, but just beginning to explore that possibility. Being from a small school, I also played quarterback for our JV Football Team & have played point guard and wing for our basketball teams. I take the most pride, however, in my academic success, ranked 2nd in my class with a 4.45 GPA. My academic goal is to graduate as Valedictorian or Salutatorian of my class in 2027. I received Top Student Honors in ELA & Biology this year, and was a Regional Qualifier for Accounting. I was also selected as 6th, 7th, & 8th Grade male Student of the Year throughout Middle School, as a result of my character traits, positive behavior, and study habits. I attend Bethel Baptist Church, and enjoy keeping up with pro-player stats in all professional sports. I also umpired for our local Nocona Youth Sports League this Spring. I’m not very established on Social Media, as my parents are very protective of that. However, my Mom is on Facebook and posts about me on her account.
