Jarrett Shannon '21 Recruiting Profile

I am looking forward to using baseball, the game I love, to achieve my college education.

I have been fortunate enough to play Varsity baseball as a starter since my Sophmore year of high school.  I have learned the importance of being a loyal teammate as I have been able to play with older players.  I am really looking forward to returning the favor this next year as a Senior leader on our team.  In high school, I have been successful in creating a good balance between my academic and athletic load which will serve me well in college.

I am a utility player, but have most enjoyed my time in the outfield hunting down hard hit balls from the opponents.  My speed and ability to move in the outfield has been my best asset.  I am the type of player that is first on the field and last to leave, always looking for the opportunity of one more cut.

I look forward to the opportunity to join a collegiate team where I believe I can contribute both on and off of the field.
