Bailey Baird '19 Recruiting Profile

I started playing baseball at the age of 4 and enjoyed playing and learning every year. One of my goals was to make the all-star team, and making the team was something I wanted to do my whole life. I didn’t make it my nine to eleven-year-old years but trying showed me that you must develop ones’ skills to become a great player. I continued to work and made the team the next year, that year I learned that being part of a team is doing your part. Our Pearland Little League team won district, sectionals, and state. We continued and played in Waco for the Southwest regional title, however we lost and didn’t make it to the Williamsport. Then I set a new goal to play for my high school team and now my dream is to play in college.
